Classic goulash is one of my old favorites recipes, made with ground beef, onions, bell peppers, and pasta in a marinated tomato sauce with diced tomatoes. It's perfect for busy weekend dinner parties because all it takes is one pot and less than 45 minutes!

You can also add more flavor to this dish with spices such as paprika or vegetables such as mushrooms or spinach. Which is why I love making it for luck!

* Ingredients :

° 1/2 pound ground turkey sausage
° 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
° 1/2 pound ground turkey
° 1 15 oz. Can tomato sauce (I used the kind with Italian seasoning.)
° 2 teaspoons soy sauce
° 1 cube beef broth
° 1 14.5 oz. Tomatoes can be cut
° 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
° 3/4 teaspoon dried oregano
° 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
° 1/2 cup finely chopped red pepper
° 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
° 1 cup uncooked pasta
° 2 tablespoons butter
° 1 tablespoon minced garlic. I used the jarred . type

* Instructions
Using a large cast iron skillet over medium heat, brown the ground turkey together while flipping and slicing the meat. Adding stock cube while browning meat.

Add the onions and peppers and stir them together until the vegetables are soft.

Add the rest of the ingredients except the pasta. Minimize heat and let it simmer about 21 min .

Add the uncooked pasta, cover and simmer for another 20 minutes. If the mixture thickens when adding the pasta, add a little water or tomato sauce. There should be enough liquid in the pan to cook the pasta.

After goulash is full cooked, adding butter. I utilize salted butter. I didn't adding salt to dish because I felt it was salty enough with the butter and broth.

Let it on about 11 to 21 min . The longer you leave it on before eating, the softer the pasta will be.

Enjoy !
