Better than any recipe

*Ingredients

°1 cup coarsely chopped American walnuts
°1 cup (2 sticks)
°Unsalted Butter Challenge
°1 cup granulated sugar
°1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
°1 teaspoon vanilla
°1 cup milk chocolate chips

*How to work

Spraying 9-inch square baking dish with cook spray and line with parchment paper.
Spreading chopped pecans in  single layer on top of parchment.
Add the butter, sugar and salt to a heavy-bottomed 3-quart saucepan
Bring to a boil on medium-low heat, stir frequently to dissolved sugar.
Once the candy boils, stir it occasionally, slowly and evenly, until the candy reaches 290°F to 300°F, or the "hard crack" on a candy thermometer.
Once the candy reaches 290F-300F, remove from the heat and gently stir in the vanilla extract.
Carefully spoon the mixture over the chopped pecans.
Let the dessert rest for a few minutes, without disturbing it, before spreading the chocolate chips on it.
Cover the baking sheet with aluminum foil and let stand for 5 minutes or until the chocolate is softened.
Removing foil and gently spread the soft chocolate into an even layer. An offset spoon works best for this.
Put the dessert in the refrigerator and let it cool completely. Give it at least two hours.
Lift the parchment from the baking dish and place the candies on a cutting board or hard surface.
Using knife to gently break it into pieces.
Stored in an airtight container in  cool place.

Enjoy !
