*Ingredients :

°1 lb package of northern dried beans
°ham bones, hocks, hocks, or diced ham (about 1 pound)
°2 teaspoons onion powder
°6 cups of water
°salt and pepper to taste

* Methods :

Rinse and sort beans for pebbles. Add rinsed beans, onion powder, salt, pepper and ham to slow cooker. Add water. Cover and cook over low heat for about 8 hours, until the beans are tender. Remove the ham bone, hocks or shanks and remove the meat. Add the meat to the slow cooker and mix.
