Ingredients

  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 (21 oz) can lemon pie filling
  • 1 (18.25 oz) box yellow cake mix
  • ½ cup butter, melted

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat and Prep

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray or butter.

Step 2: Layer the Ingredients

  1. Spread the softened cream cheese evenly over the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  2. Dollop the lemon pie filling over the cream cheese layer, spreading it out as evenly as possible without mixing into the cream cheese.
  3. Sprinkle the entire box of yellow cake mix evenly over the lemon pie filling. Don’t worry about pressing it down—just let it sit naturally.
