Protein-Rich Lentil Patties A Delicious Vegan Alternative to Meat

Dry red lentils, about 1½ cups, are an ingredient.

one big chopped shallot

minced garlic (two cloves)

1 grated little carrot

1/4 cup of chopped, fresh parsley

1/4 cup of pureed tomatoes

a teaspoon of salt

1/4 teaspoon of black pepper

The oil from olives

 

 

FIRST STEP: Get the Lentil Mixture Ready.

In a big basin, combine the red lentils that have been dried with water. Soak them for about two hours.

Before transferring the soaked lentils to a blender or food processor, be sure to drain them well using a fine mesh strainer.
