Strawberry bombs these are irresistible!

INGREDIENTS

For the dough:

300 g (2 cups) flour
1 egg
45 g (1/4 cup) sugar
Pinch of salt
7g dry yeast
140 mL (3/5 cup) hot milk
40 g (1/4 cup) softened butter
For the garnish:

Whipped cream
Strawberries, finely chopped
Powdered sugar
METHOD

Start by combining sugar, yeast, and hot milk in a medium-sized bowl, stirring until dissolved. Whisk in the egg, then add the flour and salt. Start incorporating these ingredients with a spatula. Continue kneading with your hands until the dough develops an elastic consistency.

Next, add the softened butter and continue kneading until it is fully amalgamated with the dough.

Shape the dough into a ball, then cover with a cloth or plastic wrap, allowing it to rise for an hour.

After the dough has risen, separate it into eight equal parts, shaping each into a ball. Cover them and let them rest for an additional 30 minutes.

Gently flatten each dough ball before shaping it back into a ball. Cover and allow to rest for another 30 minutes.

In a pan with hot oil, fry the dough balls on low heat for about 2-3 minutes on each side.

Once they are lightly cooled, slice each ball in half lengthwise, similar to a burger bun.

To assemble your Strawberry Bombs, layer one half with a generous dollop of whipped cream and sprinkle with chopped strawberries. Sandwich with the other half, dust with powdered sugar, and serve immediately. Enjoy this sweet explosion of flavors!
