Philly Cheese Steak Burgers

Ingredients:

1 lb lean ground beef
1 medium onion, finely chopped
1 medium green bell pepper, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup beef broth
2 tablespoons steak sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
1 cup shredded Provolone cheese
4 hamburger buns
Instructions:

Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned. Break the beef up into small crumbles as it cooks.

Add the chopped onion, green bell pepper, and minced garlic to the skillet with the beef. Cook for about 5 minutes, or until the vegetables are softened.

Pour in the beef broth and steak sauce, and season with salt and pepper. Stir well to combine all the ingredients. Let the mixture simmer for about 10 minutes, or until the broth has mostly evaporated.

Preheat your oven's broiler. Open the hamburger buns and place them on a baking sheet, cut sides up. Sprinkle the shredded Provolone cheese evenly over the bun halves.

Place the baking sheet under the broiler for 1-2 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Watch closely to prevent burning!

Remove the buns from the oven. Spoon the beef mixture onto the bottom halves of the buns, then cover with the top halves.
