Let’s get rolling!

Ingredients You’ll Need:

For the Rollups:

  • 1 tube (13.8 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough (or homemade dough if preferred)
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter , melted
  • 2 cloves garlic , minced (or 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (or your favorite melty cheese like cheddar or Monterey Jack)
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Optional Add-Ins:

  • 1/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning (for extra flavor)
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (for a hint of heat)
  • Chopped fresh parsley , for garnish

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Step 1: Preheat and Prep

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) . Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it for easy cleanup.

Step 2: Flatten the Biscuits

  1. Separate the biscuit dough into individual rounds. Use a rolling pin to flatten each biscuit into a 4–5 inch circle.

Step 3: Make the Garlic Butter Mixture

  1. In a small bowl, combine the melted butter and minced garlic. Stir in the Italian seasoning and red pepper flakes, if using.

Step 4: Assemble the Rollups

  1. Brush each flattened biscuit with the garlic butter mixture, leaving a small border around the edges.
  2. Sprinkle a generous amount of shredded mozzarella and Parmesan cheese evenly over the surface of each biscuit.
  3. Roll up each biscuit tightly, starting from one end, to form a log. Use a sharp knife to slice each log into 3–4 pieces , creating bite-sized rollups.

Step 5: Bake Until Golden

  1. Place the rollups on the prepared baking sheet, cut side up, leaving a little space between each piece.
  2. Brush the tops of the rollups with any remaining garlic butter mixture for extra flavor.
  3. Bake for 12–15 minutes , or until the rollups are golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
