Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Preheat & Prep

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) . Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan and line it with parchment paper for easy removal.

Step 2: Mix the Dry Ingredients

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.

Step 3: Cream Butter and Sugar

  1. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter and sugar together until light and fluffy (about 2–3 minutes).

Step 4: Add Wet Ingredients

  1. Beat in the eggs one at a time, ensuring each egg is fully incorporated before adding the next. Stir in the vanilla extract.

Step 5: Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients

  1. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the buttermilk. Begin and end with the dry ingredients, mixing just until combined. Be careful not to overmix.

Step 6: Bake
