Tomato Paste, 2 tablespoons; 14 ounces of diced tomatoes
Two tablespoons of balsamic vinegar and one teaspoon of sugar
1/2 teaspoon of basil
one teaspoon of oregano
Just one bay leaf
For seasoning, add salt and pepper to taste.

In a large saucepan, brown the ground beef, onion, and sausage over medium-high heat. Remove any surplus of fat.
Put the saucepan back on the heat and stir in the garlic. For 30 seconds, sauté.
Toss in the chicken broth, tomato paste, chopped tomatoes, pasta sauce, sugar, oregano, bay leaf, balsamic vinegar, and season with salt and pepper.
Simmer, covered, until boiling.
Throw in the lasagna noodles after breaking them up.
Once the noodles begin to soften, lower the heat to medium-low and continue cooking.
Before serving, sprinkle with mozzarella, ricotta, or parmesan cheese.
