To begin making this simple dinner for a weeknight, cook the noodles until they are firm but not too soft, following the instructions on the package. Next, in a big frying pan, melt butter on medium-high heat. Add chopped onion, minced garlic, Italian herbs, peas, and carrots. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Cook for around 3 minutes until the onions are tender and see-through. Mix the flour until it is well blended. Next, add chicken broth and heavy cream and heat until it boils. Lower the heat. Stir from time to time until it thickens, which should take around 5 minutes. Drain the pasta and put it in the pan with the cooked chicken. Sprinkle more salt and pepper as needed and serve while hot!
