How To Clean Your Sofa / Couch With Oxi Clean

Through their collaboration with POPSUGAR Select, OxiClean sponsored this article about cleaning a couch. All thoughts are mine, even if I received payment to write a post about OxiClean Stain.

When your children are small, there comes a point in your life when you realize that you are absolutely incapable of having anything wonderful. Our gorgeous leather couch was replaced a year ago because of large tears in the upholstery caused by tiny ones crawling all over it. We looked for a gently used couch, knowing full well that it would probably need to be replaced within five years as well. I knew better than to go buy a brand-new couch. I would rather spend $250 on a new couch rather than $1250 if I were to buy one again in five years.

We purchased our couch on Craigslist, and I can attest to the washability of the covers because I’ve had to do so four or five times in the past year due to various “incidents.” However, I am unable to remove the upholstery from the side of the couch where I discovered these berry stains a week ago.

The OxiClean website lists over 101 uses for the product, so you can certainly get a lot of bang for your buck with this product. But for the purposes of this post, let’s focus on how to clean a couch.
