2 cups all-purpose flour

3 ounces blueberries

1 cup cold milk

1/3 cup granulated sugar

5 tablespoons butter

4 teaspoons baking powder

1 teaspoon salt

Optional Glaze:

1 cup powdered sugar

1/2 teaspoon lemon juice

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/8 cup water


Preheat your oven to 450°F.

In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

Add the cold milk and blueberries to the dry ingredients, stirring to combine.

Cut the cold butter into small pieces and distribute them evenly over the dough.

Fold and knead the dough until the butter is evenly incorporated.

On a floured surface, roll the dough to a thickness of about 1/4 to 1/8 inches.

Use a biscuit cutter to form approximately 6 biscuits from the dough.

Bake for 8-12 minutes or until golden.

Brush the hot biscuits with melted butter.

For the Glaze:

Combine powdered sugar, lemon juice, vanilla extract, and water. Drizzle over the warm biscuits.
