Set the Stage: Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F to ensure it’s ready to perfectly melt the cheese on your burgers.

Craft the Filling: In a skillet, brown the hamburger, onion, and garlic, making sure to drain any excess grease afterward. Return the mixture to the skillet and introduce the pizza sauce, chopped pepperoni, and Italian seasoning. Stir well and heat the mixture through to let the flavors meld together.

Assemble the Burgers: Place each bun half on a cookie sheet, and generously spoon your freshly-made pizza mixture onto each one. Crown each burger with a hearty sprinkle of mozzarella cheese.

Bake to Perfection: Pop them into the oven and bake until the cheese achieves a delightful, gooey melt – approximately 15 minutes.

Indulge in the memory-laden flavors of the Pizza Burger and bring a slice of the past into your modern-day kitchen. Whether substituting luncheon meat with additional hamburger or opting for small cubed pepperoni, these scrumptious burgers are always a smashing hit in every which way!
