Sausage, Egg and Cheese Breakfast Roll-Ups



5 eggs
1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
8 pre-cooked breakfast sausage links
4 slices of Cheddar cheese (sandwich-size)
Salt and pepper, adjusted to preference

Preheat your oven to 350°F.
Take a small bowl and whisk the eggs. Set aside 2 tablespoons of the beaten eggs, which will be used for brushing the crescent rolls later. Now, scramble the rest of the eggs until cooked.
Spread out the crescent roll dough on a flat surface and divide into 8 individual triangles.
Slice each cheese slice into two, and place one half on each dough triangle.
Layer each triangle with a helping of scrambled eggs followed by a sausage link.
Roll up each triangle gently, starting from the wider end, as per the instructions on the can. Position them on a non-stick baking tray.
Using the reserved beaten egg, brush the tops of each crescent wrap. Season them with a sprinkle of salt and pepper.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15 to 18 minutes or until they turn a luscious golden hue.
