Blackberry Bliss: Iron Skillet Cobbler Recipe

6 tbsp Chilled Sweet Cream Butter, Diced
1 cup Self-Rising Flour
¼ tsp Salt
¼ tsp Cinnamon
1 cup + 2 tbsp White Sugar
1 cup Whole Milk
1 tsp Pure Vanilla Extract
2 cup Fresh Blackberries

Recipe Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Spray a 9-inch cast iron skillet with non-stick baking spray and distribute the diced butter pieces within.
Place the skillet in the preheated oven until the butter is completely melted.
In a medium-sized bowl, combine the self-rising flour, salt, cinnamon, sugar, milk, and vanilla extract. Stir these ingredients until well mixed.
Once the butter in the skillet is melted, carefully remove it from the oven and pour in the batter.
Evenly scatter the fresh blackberries over the batter in the skillet.
Bake the cobbler in the oven at the pre-set temperature for 30 minutes, or until the crust turns a lovely golden brown.
Serve this delightful cobbler warm, and for an extra touch of indulgence, garnish with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
Bon appétit and enjoy your homemade Iron Skillet Blackberry Cobbler!
