Garlic Butter Steak & Potato Skillet



°5 pound New York steak
°1 tablespoon of olive oil
°1 pound golden potatoes, quartered or halved
°2 tablespoons of unsalted butter
°1 teaspoon oregano
°1 teaspoon thyme
°1 teaspoon rosemary
°3 minced garlic cloves
°Salt and pepper to taste

*How to make steak with garlic butter and potatoes

Place the olive oil and 1 tablespoon of the butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Add potatoes, herbs, salt and pepper to taste. Cook potatoes, stirring often, for 3-5 minutes, until fork tender. Set the potatoes aside.
In the same skillet, add 1 tablespoon of the butter and the sliced steak. Cook, stirring, just a few times, until desired doneness is reached.
Place the potatoes back in the skillet to reheat and season to taste.
