Homemade Lasagna


°1 tablespoon olive oil
°1 small onion cut into cubes
°1 pound ground beef
°1 pound Italian sausage
°1 28 oz canned mashed tomatoes
°2 6.5 ounce cans. tomato sauce
°One 6-oz can tomato paste
°2 tsp of Italian season
°1/4 cup sugar
°Salt / pepper to taste
°1 tablespoon fresh minced basil
°12 lasagna noodles
°16 ounces ricotta cheese
°1/2 finely Parmesan cheese
°1 egg
°2 C mozzarella cheese

* Methods :

In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and onions. Fry it until cooked and add the minced meat and sausage. Cooking also crumble until brown also cook through. Add the mashed tomatoes, tomato sauce, tomato paste, Italian seasoning, sugar and basil. Simmer on low heat.
In a large saucepan, bring water to a boil. Adding lasagna also cooking for 8 to 10 min. Drain also rinse with cold water.
In a medium bowl, add ricotta, Parmesan, and eggs. Stir until incorporated.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees, spray a 9" x 13" baking tray with nonstick spray and set aside.
To make the lasagna, start by brushing 1 cup of the meat sauce into the bottom of the skillet. Organize noodles in single layer on meat sauce. Spread 1/2 cup of ricotta cheese over the noodles, then sprinkle with shredded mozzarella. Repeat layers also covering with cheese.
Covering with aluminum foil & bake for 20 min. Remove the tin foil and bake for an additional 20-25 minutes or until completely heated through and the cheese has boiled. Let it cool for 10 minutes before serving.
