CROCKPOT BANANA BREAD



*INGREDIENTS

°2 eggs
°1/2 cup butter (softened, cubed)
°1 cup granulated sugar
°2 cups all-purpose flour
°1 teaspoon baking powder
°1/2 teaspoon baking soda
°1/2 teaspoon of salt
°3 whole bananas (medium size, mashed)
°1 C chocolate chips (optional)
°1 C nuts (walnuts or pecans, chopped, optional)

In a bowl, mix the butter, eggs and sugar. Mix well.
Add baking powder, baking soda, salt and 1 cup flour. Mix well.
Add the last cup of flour. The mixture should be thick.
Mash the bananas well and add them to the mixture. Mix well.
If you chose to adding additional ingredients, do so now.
Butter a small gratin dish and pour the mixture into it.
Cook in a 6-quart slow cooker for 4 hours on low heat. The top should be lightly browned. The bread will bounce back when touched.
