Chicken pot pie

* Ingredients :

° 2 cups potatoes, peeled into cubes
° 1-3 / 4 cups carrots, sliced
° 1 cup butter, diced
° 2/3 cup chopped onion
° 1 cup all-purpose flour
° 1-3 / 4 teaspoons salt
° 1 teaspoon dried thyme
° 3/4 teaspoon pepper
° 3 cups chicken broth
° 1-1 / 2 cups whole milk
° 4 cups cooked diced chicken
° 1 cup frozen peas
° 1 cup frozen corn
° 4 slices chilled pie crust

* Directions :

The oven is heated to 425 degrees. Putting potatoes also carrots in a large pot . Add water to cover. Bring it to a boil. Reduce heat. Cook, covered, from 8 to 10 minutes or until soft; sink.
In a skillet, heat butter on high heat. Adding onions, cook and stirring until soft. Adding flour and spices until mixed. Gradually added to the broth and milk. Briing to a boil with fixed stirring; Cook & stir for 2 minutes or until firm. Add chicken, peas, corn and potato mixture. Remove from heat.
