Saturday Night Fever (1977) catapulted John Travolta to superstardom across the world.



After his role in the hit musical Grease, his celebrity began to rise even higher.

On January 5, 1954, John entered this world in the Garden State of New York.

He was the first-born in his family.

He dropped out of high school to pursue acting full-time, a dream he had since he was a little boy.

Kelly Preston was the actress John wed in 1991. She was married when they first crossed paths.




According to Kelly's 2018 confession, her first marriage was a poor fit and she was unhappy there.


Kelly died in July 2020 after a battle with breast cancer. John and her relationship spanned over 30 years.

Jett was born to them on April 13, 1992. Their daughter Ella Bleu was born in the year 2000, and their youngest son Benjamin was born in 2010.

Jett disappeared in 2009 as a result of seizures associated to autism. John said he was unable to cope and was inconsolable. The famous father felt he needed to take care of his health so he could spend more time with his two other kids.
