Apple Kielbasa Bites Made in a Slow Cooker

These are the ingredients you'll need: - 1 pound of kielbasa sausage, sliced into 1/2-inch slices - 2 apples, cored and diced into tiny pieces - 1/2 cup of brown sugar - 1/2 cup of apple cider (or juice) - 2 teaspoons of Dijon mustard - 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
Garnish with fresh parsley if desired; season with salt and pepper.
Instructions:
1. Start by collecting all of your ingredients and getting your slow cooker ready. A quick spritz of cooking spray or a liner will make cleaning a breeze.
2. Evenly distribute the sliced kielbasa down the bottom of the slow cooker and place it in there.
3. In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together the apple cider, brown sugar, garlic powder, Dijon mustard, and diced apples. Season with salt and pepper as desired. Toss everything together and give it a good stir.
4. Coat the sausage pieces well with the apple and spice mixture, then pour it over the kielbasa in the slow cooker.
5. Place the cover on top of the slow cooker and cook on low for three to four hours or high for one to two hours. Cook until the kielbasa is cooked through and the flavors have combined.
6. After the cooking time is over, gently toss the kielbasa bits to coat them in the sauce again.
7. Just before serving, sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley for a bit of color and taste, if preferred.
8. Serve the Slow Cooker Apple Kielbasa Bites hot, distributing them on a platter with toothpicks or topping them with whatever you choose.

If you're serving them at a party, be sure to keep them warm so that guests can savor the soft apple chunks and delicious kielbasa.
