Baked Pasta with Broccoli and Chicken

Heat up the oven: Turn on your oven and set it to 375°F (190°C).

Make the Pasta: In a big pot, cook the pasta following the instructions on the package until it is firm to the bite. Drain and put to the side.

Cook the broccoli: If you are using fresh broccoli, cook it in steam or boiling water for about 2-3 minutes until it is soft. If you are using frozen food, just defrost it and remove excess liquid.

Prepare the creamy sauce.

In a big frying pan, warm up some olive oil on medium heat. Put the chopped garlic in the pan and cook for around 1 minute until it smells good.

Add the heavy cream, chicken broth, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes (if desired) and mix well. Heat until it starts to bubble gently.

Put the cooked chicken and broccoli together and mix thoroughly.

Mix the cheddar and Parmesan cheese until they melt and blend together.

Mix the cooked pasta with the creamy chicken and broccoli in a big bowl. Stir until the pasta is completely covered.

Put together the ingredients for baking. Put the pasta mixture into a greased baking dish that is 9 by 13 inches in size. Add more cheddar cheese on top.

Cook in the oven that has been preheated for around 25-30 minutes, or until the top is bubbly and golden.

Add toppings and serve: Take out of the oven, allow to cool a bit, and add fresh parsley on top. Serve it hot!

Enjoy your delicious broccoli and chicken pasta casserole!

Have fun!
