Heat your oven to 350°F (175°C) before using it.

In a big frying pan, cook the ground beef and chopped onion on medium heat until the beef is cooked and the onions are soft.

Add salt, black pepper, and Worcestershire sauce to taste, and then mix in the beef broth. Let it cook for around 5 minutes until most of the liquid is gone.

While the beef mix is cooking, cut the small buns in half horizontally without separating the top and bottom parts.

Put the lower parts of the slider buns in one layer in a 9x13 inch baking dish.

Evenly spread the beef mixture on the buns, then sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.

Put the upper part of the slider buns on top of the cheese.

Spread the melted butter on top of the buns and then add sesame seeds on top.

Put aluminum foil on top of the dish and bake it for 15 minutes. Take off the cover and bake for 10 more minutes, or until the tops of the buns turn golden and the cheese melts.

Allow the dish to cool a bit before cutting it into smaller pieces and serving.

Different Types and Advice

To give your dish a new taste, you can include a packet of dry onion soup mix in the beef mix or experiment with Swiss cheese instead of cheddar. If your children are choosy about food, you can offer the beef separately and allow them to make their own mini burgers. To give it some extra flavor, you can add chopped pickles or jalapenos to the ground beef. Finally, you can replace the ground beef with ground turkey or chicken to make a lighter and tasty version of this dish.
