As mentioned, these cabinets may not be suitable for items you use twice a day every day, but they can still store things that are only used occasionally. Consider kitchen appliances like food processors, blenders, and waffle makers.
Canned goods and baking basics
Many canned foods and fresh fruits and vegetables last a long time, so you can store them and not worry if you forget about them for a while. What about basic baking items that you only use on weekends?
Books with recipes.
Do you have any cookbooks you no longer need? I have done it, I use the upper part of my cabinet to store my books.

Food and seasonings.
Just like we talked about with canned foods, there are probably things in your kitchen cabinets that can also be stored in this cupboard. You could also think about getting a small shelf to store your cooking spices.
Towels for the kitchen
Household items like kitchen towels that you might buy in large quantities (my wife always does) can be kept here.
High-quality porcelain dishes
Do you have plates or silverware that you only use for special events? It might be a good idea to store them on top of the refrigerator. This way, there is a lower risk of your kids finding them.
Be cautious.
It's important to be cautious when opening and closing cabinets. If you are picking up objects from a high place, make sure they are not too heavy to bring down safely.
Always use a strong stool or step ladder to reach items stored there, and remember that the heat from the fridge below may not be good for some products.
