Half a cup of freshly squeezed orange juice.
1/4 cup of honey
Dos cucharadas de salsa de soja.
Two tablespoons of butter
1 teaspoon of grated orange peel
Ginger powder (if desired) 1/4 teaspoon
Directions:
Get the chicken ready: Heat your oven to 200°C (400°F) before using it. Wash the chicken and then dry it with a paper towel. Cover with olive oil and add salt and pepper. Put garlic and slices of orange inside.
Prepare the Orange Glaze: In a small pot, mix together orange juice, honey, soy sauce, butter, orange peel, and ginger (if desired). Heat the mixture until the butter is melted and all the ingredients are mixed together. Cook gently for 3-5 minutes.
Put the chicken in a baking dish and pour half of the glaze on top.
Cook the chicken in the oven at the set temperature for 60-90 minutes. Brush it with the glaze that is left halfway through cooking.
Allow the chicken to cool down: Take it out of the oven and let it sit for 10-15 minutes before cutting.
Serve: Cut and serve with roasted slices of orange.
