Dealing with Ticks in Your House
Ticks are tiny parasites that suck blood and can be found in forests, grassy areas, and gardens. They can also get inside houses, especially if there are pets. If you see a tick in your house, stay calm. Act quickly to stop the spread of diseases.
Determine which insect is a tick.
First, determine what kind of tick it is. Certain animals are more harmful than others. If you are not sure, take a clear picture and ask a doctor or pest control specialist for advice.

Next, take out the checkmark. Use tweezers or a special tool to grab the tick as close to the skin as you can and remove it carefully. Do not press or turn the tick forcefully, as this might make its head break off and stay in the skin.
