Blogger Stacey Cartwright enjoys hosting guests, so she has been wanting a pretty bar cart for her home. What is the issue? Finding one that didn't exceed her budget for decorating. Because bar carts are hard to find at low prices, Stacey chose to buy a secondhand one, and it worked out well! While looking around a yard sale, she found an old cart covered in rust for only $2.
Yes, it had rust on it, but I was able to remove most of it by using an electric drill with a wire-brush attachment. After that, Stacey prepared and painted the cart. She used a ruler to make a herringbone pattern.
