At 69, Reba McEntire wears transparent lace to 2024 ACM Awards, and everyone’s saying the same thing

People liked not only how she looked, but also how well she naturally hosted events. As was already said, this year's event was the 17th time McEntire has handled it. She has been involved with the ACM Awards for over 40 years, since she won her first award.

Reba didn't leave out this fact when she joked that "Jelly Roll" used to be the name of an after-school snack (speaking to the well-known country music singer Jelly Roll) and that she used to ride a carriage to school instead of going to a famous country music festival.

Fans who were watching the event didn't waste any time telling Reba how they felt about her efforts.

One X fan wrote, "Having Reba host this year's show is like having your favorite aunt over for dinner." "She's so nice, and you love hearing from her."

Another person said of the star, "is just an amazing performer; country music is lucky to have her."

A fourth said, "It's always a party and a good time."

Five people called McEntire "the ultimate host."
