A trifle with strawberry cheesecake

One loaf (10-3/4 ounces) of frozen pound cake, thawed and sliced into 1/2-inch pieces, and three cups of heavy whipping cream
Three ounces of shredded semisweet chocolate
Not required: Extra strawberries and chocolate curls
How to Prepare a Trifle with Strawberry Cheesecake
Strawberries should be mixed with 1/2 cup sugar in a bowl and left aside.
Combine cream cheese, orange juice, and the remaining sugar in a bowl and mix until smooth. Whisk in the whipped cream and reserve.
Strawberries should be drained, saving juice; put fruit aside. Toss cake pieces gently in reserved juice. Half of the cake should be placed in a serving bowl or 4-quart trifle dish. Place half of the strawberries, half of the grated chocolate, and a third of the cream cheese mixture on top. Layers should be repeated. Cover with the remaining mixture of cream cheese. If desired, garnish with chocolate curls and strawberries. After covering, chill for a minimum of four hours.
