Get your oven preheated to 350°F, or 175°C.
To make sure the flour, salt, and baking powder are evenly distributed, sift them together in a medium-sized basin.
Set aside a dish for combining the granulated sugar and softened butter. Combine the ingredients and mix until smooth.
While the sugar and butter are combining, add the eggs and stir well.
Alternately add the ½ cup of pineapple juice that has been set aside and the dry ingredients that have been mixed into the mixture, making sure that each addition blends together smoothly.
Add the milk to the mixture that was specified before.
Carefully stir in the pineapple chunks to the batter.

After greasing the loaf pan, transfer the mixture and spread it out evenly.
Fifty to fifty-five minutes, or until a skewer inserted in the middle comes out clean, bake the mixture in the preheated oven.
Let the loaf sit for ten to fifteen minutes in the pan, and then move it to a cooling rack to cool completely.
Mix the glaze ingredients in a small bowl until smooth. Once the loaf has cooled completely, brush it with the glaze. Serve when the glaze has set.
