Three tablespoons of regular flour

3 and a half cups of milk

0.5 milligrams of black pepper

1/2 teaspoon of salt

Toppings: fresh parsley, if desired, and one cup of shredded cheddar cheese

What to do:

Set oven temperature to 375°F. Coat a baking dish that measures 9×13 inches with spray oil.

Before scattering it in the baking dish, brown the sausage in a pan.

Combine the sausage fat with the flour to make a roux. Thicken by simmering with milk.

After adding salt and pepper to the gravy, pour it over the sausage.

Quarter the biscuits and place them on top of the gravy.

The biscuits should be brown after 25 minutes in the oven. For the last 5 minutes, if you're using cheese, add it.

Add parsley as a garnish and let aside for a few minutes before serving.

Tips and Variations:

Turkey sausage and almond milk will make it lighter.

To give the gravy a cheesy flavor, stir in some shredded cheese.

Add cayenne pepper or jalapeños to make it spicier.

For easy morning meals, reheat leftovers.
