Thawed frozen loaf of garlic bread (10 ounces)

1 pound of ground beef (lean)

½ cup of onion (chopped)

2 cups of shredded cheese (we used Colby jack)

15-ounce can of sloppy Joe sauce

1 tablespoon of butter without salt

Salt and pepper to taste

1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

2. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add chopped onion and cook until softened.

3. Add ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned. Drain excess fat if needed.

4. Stir in the sloppy Joe sauce, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for a few minutes until heated through.

5. While the meat mixture is simmering, slice the thawed garlic bread loaf in half horizontally.

6. Place the garlic bread halves on a baking sheet.

7. Spoon the sloppy Joe mixture evenly over each garlic bread half. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top of the sloppy Joe mixture.

8. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
