Strawberry pound cake



°1 ea. Beaten butter
°2 large eggs
°1 C. of caster sugar
°1 C. Vanilla
°2 bed. All purpose flour
°1 C. ground almonds
°⅓ c. Milk
°1 cup strawberries, quartered
°¼ tsp water


In a bowl, beat the butter and sugar together until the mixture is smooth and fluffy.
Mix the eggs one at a time until completely blended.
Instead, add the flour with the milk until well blended.
Mix vanilla and ground almonds.
Add strawberry wedges and water until well blended.
Spread batter evenly between two well-greased loaf pans.
Bake for 45 minutes to an hour, until cooked through.
Let cool before serving.
