Million Dollar Spaghetti Casserole

Decadent Spaghetti Casserole Delight
1 (8 ounce) package spaghetti
1 pound lean ground beef
1 (16 ounce) jar spaghetti sauce
½ cup butter, sliced – divided
1 (8 ounce) container cottage cheese
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
¼ cup sour cream
1 (8 ounce) package shredded sharp Cheddar cheese

Steps to Prepare the Decadent Spaghetti Casserole Delight
Begin by preheating your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a large pot of lightly salted water, cook spaghetti until it's cooked through but still firm to the bite, this should take about 12 minutes. Once done, drain the spaghetti.
Next, heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook until it's browned and crumbly, which will take about 5 to 7 minutes. Drain and discard the grease. Transfer the cooked beef to a bowl and mix in the spaghetti sauce.
Now, take a 9x13-inch casserole dish and arrange 1/2 of the butter slices on the bottom. Layer 1/2 of the cooked spaghetti over the butter.
In a separate bowl, combine the cottage cheese, cream cheese, and sour cream; spread this mixture over the layer of spaghetti. Cover this with the remaining spaghetti and top with the rest of the butter slices.
Pour the ground beef mixture over the spaghetti, spreading it evenly.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes. Sprinkle the Cheddar cheese on top and continue to bake until the cheese has melted and is lightly browned, which will take about 15 more minutes. Enjoy your delicious Decadent Spaghetti Casserole Delight!
