Croissants with cream cheese sausage



*Ingredients

°1 pound ground sausage, pork or turkey
°8 ounces of cream cheese
°Salt and pepper to taste
°2 rolls of croissant dough

*Instructions

FIRST STEP:
Preheat oven to 375*
In a large skillet, crumble and brown the sausage until the meat is cooked through. Season with salt and pepper.
SECOND STEP:
Add the cream cheese to the sausage after draining the fat.
Stir until melted and remove from heat
THIRD STEP:
Lightly spray a 9x13 baking dish
Unroll a box of croissant dough and place it in the bottom of the pan, stretch it if necessary
FOURTH STEP:
Pour the meat mixture over the layer of croissant dough
Top the meat mixture with the other roll of croissant dough.
FIFTH STEP:
Bake for 20 minutes or until the croissant dough is lightly browned.
Cut into squares
