ROASTED GARLIC MUSHROOMS

 


Garlic Butter Mushrooms are a quick and impressive side dish that is a staple of meals in our home steakhouse. They roast in the oven just like your favorite veggies and after adding some butter they're ready to serve quickly. This  recipe is so popular in our home that even people who promise they hate mushrooms always end up in seconds. It is also a perfect basic recipe for cooking mushrooms for other dishes.

As a kid I would watch my mom completely peel the tops of mushrooms, so I thought this was the way to clean them until I was working alongside a chef who saw me peeling mushroom tops in horror and asked what I was doing. Since I know I don't have to peel the surfaces on which I use mushrooms much now, it takes almost no time at all!


* Ingredients :

° 16 mushrooms, equal size, sliced ​​into flat stalks
° 3 tablespoons olive oil or coconut oil
° 1/4 cup soft unsalted butter
° 3 cloves garlic, minced very fine
° 2 tablespoons minced fresh thyme
° 1 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice
° Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
° 1/4 c fresh breadcrumbs

* Directions :

Preheat oven to 200°C/400°F/gas mark 6. Slightly fry mushrooms, lid side down, in hot oil for 20 seconds.

Ordering mushrooms in  shoal roast griddle with stem facing up.

Mixing butter,; garlic, ;thyme,; lemon juice & spices together. Pour a little garlic butter over each mushroom, then gently press the breadcrumbs on top. All refrigerate about later employ or cook in oven totally for 11 min .
