MEXICAN TRASH

I'm fortunate to have many excellent friends who are devout Texans. They are the kind who are pleased to display a full-fledged Texas sticker on the rear window of their vehicle (Nicole). Additionally, these are the individuals in the group picture that displays the Longhorns hand gesture anytime a group photograph is taken (Laura). It's adorable. It's very adorable. And they are a proud lot, bless their hearts.

Taco seasoning and green chiles cooked in a mixture of cream cheese, sour cream, and Mexican cheese give this famous Mexican bean dip its taste. Texas trash dip is a crowd favorite for sure!

Can I Substitute a Different Kind of Shredded Cheese? I'm certain you can! If you do not have a Mexican cheese mix on hand, use your preferred cheese or cheese blend. Substitutes like sharp cheddar, Monterey Jack, or Pepper Jack are all acceptable.

And if you're looking for something to serve alongside this delicious Mexican trash; Almost any cracker or chip with a high carbohydrate content combines well with this Mexican dip recipe.
