Meatball Boats

 


Enjoy meatball without all the mess with this easy mincemeat boat recipe

Preparation time: 5 minutes | Cooking time: 25 minutes | Total time: 30 minutes | Serves: 4-6 Huggies

* Ingredients :

° 2 pounds of ground beef (905 g)
° 2 eggs
° 1 cup rusk (115 g)
° ½ cup (10 g) fresh parsley plus 2 tablespoons chopped and divided
° 6 cloves minced garlic
° 1 teaspoon salt
° Half a teaspoon pepper
° oil
° 4 soft rolls
° 8 slices mozzarella cheese
° 1 cup (260 g) marinara sauce
° ½ cup (55 g) butter, melted
° grated parmesan cheese

* Preparation :

In a large bowl, combine ground beef, eggs, bread crumbs, 1/2 cup (10 g) parsley, 3 garlic cloves, salt, and pepper.
Form ground beef mix into golf ball-siized balls.
Heat a cast iron skillet or frying pan with oil over medium-high heat.
Cook the meatballs until browned on all sides. Transfer the meatballs to a plate, then remove the pot from the heat.
Heat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
Place the soft rolls on the baking tray.
Cutting top of rolls with a knife & pressure inside down to make a boat.
Mix the melted butter with 3 cloves of garlic and 2 tablespoons of parsley.
Grease the rolls with garlic butter.
Bake for 5 minutes or until toasted.
Put two slices of mozzarella in the rolls. Put a spoonful of marinara on top of the cheese.
Put three meatballs in the boat and top with more marinara.
Bake for 25 minutes or until cheese has melted.
Put Parmesan cheese on top.
