MAMA'S DEVILED EGGS

 


Devilish eggs are a great side dish or appetizer that everyone loves! This is a classic prepared egg recipe made with mayonnaise, mustard, vinegar, and a little sugar. 

If you want the best hard-boiled eggs that are resistant to protection, use the 5-5-5 Instant Pot method. 

+ Put 6-12 eggs in a saucepan and cover with water, plus 1-2 inches of water on top of the eggs.
+ Bring the pot to a boil.
+ Turn off the heat while keeping the pot on the hot stove. Let eggs in hot water for 11-13 min .
+ Drain the water and turn on the cold water (you can also add ice) to prevent the eggs from getting cooked.


* Ingredients :

° 6 boiled eggs, look at the notes for cooking eggs in the instant pot or stove
° 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
° 1 teaspoon yellow mustard
° Half a teaspoon of sugar
° ½ teaspoon white vinegar to ½ teaspoon for extra zing
° salt to taste
°° Optional appetizers - chives and parsley

* Instructions :

Boil 6 eggs, peel them and cut them in half from top to bottom. Remove the yolk and put it in a bowl.
Utilize back side from a fork, mash the egg yolks until well crumbled.
Add mayonnaise, mustard, sugar, vinegar, and salt to the egg yolks and stir until well combined.
Fill a disposable ziplock bag with the yolk mixture. Cut an angled end (small) from the bag. Put the yolk mixture into the cooked egg white.
Garnish with paprika, chives or parsley.

++ Notes:

For boiled eggs on the stove:
