CHICKEN POT PIE

 


This is the best chicken potby recipe! Filled with chicken, potatoes, peas, and corn, this recipe makes two golden pancakes, so you can serve one for dinner and keep the other for a busy night.


* Ingredients :

° 500 grams of boneless, skinless chicken breasts

° 2 sliced ​​carrots.

° Semi a cup chopped celery.

° 1 chopped onion.

° 1 cup green peas.

° 1 cup full fat milk.

° 2 cups of chicken broth.

° 2 tablespoons of flour.

° 2 tablespoons soft butter.

° Salt and pepper to taste.

° Uncooked pie crusts (I used 2).

* Instructions :

Step 1:

You have preheated the oven to 400°C (220°C).

Step 2:

Sauté the onions for 4 minutes in a saucepan, stirring them in the flour, celery, pepper, and salt, then into the milk and chicken broth.

Step 3:

I pour chicken mixture to an un-roasted pie crust, also added fried onions.

The fourth step:

Bake it for 25-35 minutes, and let it cool for 15 minutes before serving.
Note: I added shredded cheddar cheese on top, try it, it gives this pie a great taste.
