Chicken and Broccoli Lasagna Recipe

 


This chicken lasagna recipe is one of our favorite comfort foods. Tender chicken topped with vegetables, cheese and lasagna noodles in a rich, creamy Alfredo-inspired sauce. Serve alongside Caesar salad and garlic bread for a comforting meal perfect for any time of the year!

Having simple dinner recipes that I can make during the week and reheat well to make a few meals is a complete game-changer. Cue, Alfredo Chicken Lasagna Recipe!

* Ingredients:

° 9  Lasagna noodles
° 4 chicken boneless breasts, cut into small cubes
° 12 oz. 1 bag of frozen broccoli, thawed
° 8 oz. mozzarella cheese
° 1 c. grated parmesan cheese
° 1 small onion, chopped
° 2 cloves minced garlic
° 1/4 tsp. + 1 tsp Salt
° 1 chicken broth
° 1 1/2 m  milk full fat
° 1 tsp. dried basil
° 2 t. olive oil
° 5 T. Butter
° 5 t. Flour

* Directions :

Bring a large pot of water to a boil and add salt and pasta. Cooking for 7-8 min  To tender. empty, drain cold water to prevent sticking, and set apart . In a medium skillet, heat the oil and frying chicken until completely cooked, add the broccoli, onion and garlic and cook until the onions are translucent. Remove from fire and disperse it. In another saucepan, melt the butter and whisk the flour. Cooking about 1 minute, adding chicken broth also milk and beat until sauce begins to thicken. Cooking until the sauce coats the back of the spoon tightly. Removing from heat also adding basil, salt, Parmesan cheese also 1/4 C of mozzarella cheese. Adding chicken blend to sauce and mix well. Assemble it... In a lightly greased 9 x 13 skillet, place a layer of pasta, putting a layer of sauce mix on top also sprinkling with a quarter of rest cheese. Repeat with a second layer ending with a layer of noodles, & pour any rest sauce on top and sprinkle with the remaining cheese. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes or until golden brown and boiling.
